origins

We began with two questions:

What kind of medicine would we trust for our own families?

Is the medicine ethically made? Is it grounded in time-tested knowledge? Is it free from unnecessary additives or risks? In a world where even traditional medicine can be commercialized, we wanted to return to formulations that were created with care, prepared with integrity, and tested with the same rigor we would demand for our own families’ wellbeing.

How can we realistically help the millions suffering from over-medication, drug interactions, or unsafe herbal products?

The second question reflects the reality we saw around us: patients overwhelmed by polypharmacy, vulnerable groups exposed to drug interactions, and caregivers unsure whom to trust. It asks not just what’s wrong, but what’s possible. Could we offer Ayurvedic medicine that is clinically accountable, honest in its claims, and practical for modern life, without compromising its classical roots?

Those questions weren’t philosophical. They were practical and personal. They still shape every decision we make. Because when health becomes a transaction, both healing and trust are lost. We founded Alopa to do the opposite: to practice business as a form of care, and to treat medicine as a responsibility, not a commodity. Alopa is growing quietly through trust between doctors and patients, and through results.We don’t pay for prescriptions. We stay close to what works.We are not here to market Ayurveda; we are here to preserve its clinical function.
